Pallet Cobot Specialist

A Pallet Cobot Specialist operates and monitors a collaborative robot system for palletizing tasks, which includes operating the system, performing machine quality control, managing malfunctions, and maintaining a supply of materials. The role requires knowledge of robotic systems operation, the ability to monitor system quality, handling basic troubleshooting, and occasionally creating or modifying palletization patterns for different products. 

Job responsibilities

• Operate robotic equipment: Control and monitor the cobot palletizing system to ensure efficient stacking of products onto pallets.
• Quality control: Inspect finished goods for defects and ensure pallet patterns meet quality standards before they are tagged and moved.
• Troubleshooting: Address minor issues such as jams or malfunctions to keep the system running smoothly.
• Material supply: Ensure the system is continuously supplied with products, pallets, and other necessary materials.
• Record-keeping: Maintain logs of production, quality checks, and other relevant data.
• System management: Use an interface to create or modify palletization patterns for various products, which may involve entering products and pallet dimensions. 

Required skills and qualifications.

• Technical aptitude: Ability to operate and monitor automated systems, including basic troubleshooting.
• Attention to detail: Capacity to perform quality checks and identify production defects.
• Physical ability: While the cobot performs the heavy lifting, some tasks may still require physical activity like lifting, pushing, or standing for extended periods, depending on the specific role and work environment.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn new processes and work with different products as needed.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with others in a shared workspace, as the system is designed to work alongside humans. 

This is a full-time position offering a pay range of $20 - $24 per hour. We offer a full benefits package including medical, dental, 401k with company match, company paid life insurance, supplemental insurance coverages, and paid time off.
