Backend Developer for Dev Center

As a Backend Engineer, you'll be working on the platform that powers all apps at Wix. Our platform serves a dual purpose: as infrastructure for all of Wix and as a product for external applications. Given its unique position, our platform is a key enabler for many of Wix's highest priority efforts and new features.
In your day-to-day, you will:  

• Focus on building scalable and high-performance systems  
• Design and develop with open platform principles in mind  
• Ensure extensibility of the platform to support future needs  
• Write clean and maintainable code  
• Collaborate with other teams at Wix clearly and professionally  

*At Wix our work model is hybrid with 4 days a week from our North Tel Aviv Campus and 1 day of remote work from home; please make sure this fits your preferences before moving forward.

• 3+ years of experience in backend engineering  
• Proficiency with an object-oriented programming language  
• Experience with Kafka or equivalent and microservices -an advantage  
• Experience and comfort working with AI - an advantage  
• Strong collaboration and communication skills  
• Enabler mindset with a can- do attitude
