Overview of the Role

The SEO & GEO Specialist will own and lead the company’s SEO and GEO efforts end-to-end. This role is responsible for building and executing a scalable organic growth strategy, identifying new opportunities, and driving sustainable performance across search engines and emerging discovery platforms. The position requires a strong hands-on approach, close cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate business goals into actionable initiatives.

What you will do

  • Own and execute the SEO & GEO strategy end to end, aligned with company growth goals
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and opportunity mapping across markets
  • Optimize on-page, technical, and off-page SEO performance
  • Lead GEO initiatives, including local and geo-targeted optimization (Google Business Profiles, local pages, citations, etc.)
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals (CWV) and overall site performance
  • Identify and test new organic growth opportunities, including AI-driven search and discovery platforms
  • Stay up to date with search engine algorithm changes and industry best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience (GEO / local SEO experience is a strong plus)
  • Proven experience building and scaling organic growth strategies
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, CWV, and site architecture
  • Experience working closely with engineering and product teams
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Experience with international or multi-market SEO - Advantage
  • Familiarity with AI-powered search engines and emerging discovery platforms - Advantage
  • Experience working with CMS platforms and SEO tools (e.g., GSC, GA, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) - Advantage
