Sr. Mechanical Engineer - Design

We pride ourselves on integrated engineering solutions that meet complex project demands.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Lead the design and development of <strong>HVAC,</strong><strong> f</strong><strong>irefighting and plumbing systems</strong>, including water supply, drainage, fire suppression systems, and pump room design in line with project requirements.</p></li><li><p>Create and manage <strong>detailed 3D BIM models</strong> (Revit) for plumbing and firefighting systems, ensuring coordination with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines.</p></li><li><p>Conduct and supervise <strong>design coordination meetings</strong> to resolve interdisciplinary clashes and ensure seamless integration.</p></li><li><p>Perform and validate system <strong>calculations</strong> including pipe sizing, flow rates, pump head, pressure drop, and hydraulic calculations for firefighting systems.</p></li><li><p>Review project specifications, drawings, and documents to ensure <strong>compliance with local and international codes</strong>, such as NFPA, IPC, and applicable building regulations.</p></li><li><p>Provide <strong>technical guidance and mentorship</strong> to junior engineers and CAD/BIM technicians within the team.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and site teams to ensure design intent is maintained through all project phases.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in <strong>Mechanical Engineering</strong>.</p></li><li><p><strong>Minimum 5–7 years</strong> of proven experience in designing <strong>HVAC,&nbsp;</strong><strong>firefighting and plumbing systems</strong>, preferably for large-scale projects (e.g., hospitals, administrative or commercial buildings).</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of <strong>NFPA, IPC, and local fire and plumbing codes</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Proficient in <strong>AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, and Elite Fire</strong> or similar hydraulic calculation software.</p></li><li><p>Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.</p></li></ul><hr><p><strong>Work Conditions:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Working Days:</strong> Sunday to Thursday</p></li><li><p><strong>Days Off:</strong> Friday and Saturday</p></li><li><p><strong>Location:</strong> Mohandseen</p></li></ul>
