About the Role:
The Product Owner – Shopping Experience will own the end-to-end shopping journey across web and app, focusing on discovery, conversion, and operational execution. This role works closely with Operations, Marketing, CX, Engineering, Design, Data/BI, and commercial stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements.
Responsibilities
- Own the Shopping Experience roadmap and backlog (Discovery & Conversion).
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Run Scrum ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retros, and release coordination.
- Drive experimentation: define hypotheses, run A/B tests, measure impact, and scale winners.
- Monitor performance KPIs and funnels (e.g., CTR, lead submit, booking/downpayment, conversion, drop-offs).
- Partner with Operations and CX to ensure smooth execution and reduce friction across processes.
- Align stakeholders and keep communication clear: scope, timelines, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Ensure quality delivery with QA/UAT support and post-release monitoring.
- 1-3 years in Product (PO/PM) with strong execution focus (preferably e-commerce / marketplaces).
- Strong analytics mindset: ability to analyze funnels, cohorts, and experiment results.
- Hands-on with product tools (examples): Mixpanel/GA, Jira/Confluence.
- Proven stakeholder management across multiple functions.
- Strong understanding of Scrum/Agile and day-to-day product delivery.
- Familiarity working closely with Operations teams and operational workflows.
- Good understanding of the Saudi market and user expectations.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
