Job Purpose
-
The Payroll Clerk supports Good Earth Markets by ensuring every team member is paid accurately and on time while providing payroll reporting directly to the CEO and Director Team with accuracy, and confidentiality. This role helps manage the full payroll cycle, maintains the HRIS software and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, while providing exceptional service to employees across the store locations.

Key Responsibilities
-
Process biweekly payroll for all store and Headquarter employees with accuracy and confidentiality
-
Maintain employee payroll records through Paycom, including new hires, promotions, transfers and terminations
-
Audit time cards, hours, differential pay and PTO balances
-
Provide scheduled weekly payroll reports for CEO, Director Team and Managers

Ensure compliance with federal state labor laws and payroll regulations

Be the in-house expert for Paycom and keep HRIS software relevant to policies and company needs

Train directors, managers, and teams as needed to maintain most efficient processes in Paycom

Stay up-to-date on federal and state ACA compliance regulations
-
Undertake other HQ and HR responsibilities as needed to support the overall HR function

Maintain strict accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality and all duties

Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude
Qualifications
