The Power Platform Technical Lead plays a key role in EML’s ongoing growth, providing technical leadership and governance across our core business systems. You’ll oversee and continuously enhance our Power Platform environment, with a strong focus on Fabric, Power Automate and AI-driven applications.

Working closely with a customer-focused team, you’ll drive strategic improvements, strengthen platform reliability, streamline processes and support the integration of LLM-powered tools for smarter knowledge management and digital transformation.

This will be a full time, 12 month contract position based in our Sydney office, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 3 days per week).
 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set and maintain governance frameworks across the Power Platform, ensuring secure, efficient and compliant use while defining the technical roadmap.
  • Manage platform operations, drive continuous improvement and embed best practice, staying across Microsoft updates and industry trends.
  • Maintain and optimise LLM-powered applications from a front-end lens, including curation of document repositories for accuracy.
  • Work closely with Product, AI/ML and Operations teams to enhance prompt quality, platform configuration and knowledge accessibility.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, engaging stakeholders, aligning priorities and providing visibility on platform health, risks and roadmap.
     

ABOUT YOU

  • 5+ years experience in a similar technology role within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong background supporting the M365 suite, particularly SharePoint and MS Teams.
  • Hands-on experience building, deploying and supporting solutions across the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Fabric.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence, the Power Platform CoE, and customising Dynamics 365 CRM is advantageous.
  • Relevant qualifications in M365 and ITIL Service Management.
