What are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Surveyor to join our safety and result-driven team. This position is permanent full time, working a Monday to Friday roster. We offer an attractive remuneration package including performance-based bonuses. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Providing quality and timely surveying services to stakeholder groups at Mangoola Coal.

• The support of accurate computer and drawing databases in keeping with site and legislative requirements and best practice.

• Undertaking day-to-day survey work including survey pickups and set outs, maintaining and implementing monitoring campaigns as required, maintaining services database, confirming dig/dump compliance to design and plan preparation.

• Contributing to the daily planning process.

About you:

• You will have relevant tertiary survey qualifications or be working towards this.

• A REPL Drone Licence and Open Cut Mining experience is desirable.

• Registration with the Board of Surveying & Spatial Information (BOSSI) or equivalent is desirable.

• Experience with Pix4D, PointStudio and Vulcan is desirable.

• You have a high regard for your personal safety and the safety of your teammates.

• You have the ability to work in high pressure situations with competing workplace priorities.

• You are a team player with a high level of safety awareness, an attitude for outstanding performance, and a willingness to contribute to a winning team.
