In the summer of 2026, you have the chance to join the Valmet team and work in a variety of roles within logistics, procurement, and supply chain management! 

We have several teams and positions available, so your tasks may vary depending on the team you join.  

Typical responsibilities may include:  

• Managing export shipments: Booking shipments through Valmet’s transport system, preparing shipping documents (ERP: Infor LN or M3), handling equipment orders, and managing team emails and support requests. Providing customer service and supporting Sales throughout all outbound logistics phases. 

• Processing freight invoices and domestic freight bookings: Handling freight invoices and booking domestic shipments, progressing to more complex tasks as your skills develop. 

• Creating and managing purchase orders: Monitoring delivery schedules, managing item data, and checking invoice errors. 

• Using ERP systems: Learning and working with ERP systems such as Infor LN and M3, preparing RFQs (Request for Quotations), and making purchases from Global suppliers. 

• Supply chain management tasks: Assisting in material handling, maintaining supply chain order, picking parts for assembly, shelving products, and performing inventory checks. 

• Supply Chain Customer service tasks: managing critical orders, reporting production plan statuses to Global Sales and Service Units, and managing prioritization process with production. 

We have summer jobs for Logistics and Procurement available in Jyväskylä, Kajaani, Tampere, Valkeakoski, and Vantaa.

We’re looking for proactive and reliable team players who enjoy variety in their work. Strong communication skills in Finnish and English, both written and spoken, are essential. A service-minded attitude and the ability to work independently while asking for help when needed will help you succeed.

Attention to detail matters. You should have good basic IT skills, be familiar with Microsoft Office, and be eager to learn new systems.

You’re passionate about learning and ready to share fresh ideas. Flexibility is key, as you’ll handle a range of tasks and assignments.
