Quantitative Developer - Python

QRT’s culture of innovation continuously drives our ambition to deliver high quality returns for our investors.<br><strong><br>Your future role within QRT</strong></p> <p></p> <ul type="disc"> <li data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Work closely with traders and researchers to deploy quantitative tools for the energy desk</li> <li>Grow in a fast paced and challenging environment, interacting directly with Traders and Quant Researchers</li> <li>Handle full lifecycle (architecture, development, deployment, maintenance) of cloud-native solutions exploring alternative datasets, risk reports, PnL, ML/statistical modelling</li> <li>Collaborate with global IT teams to leverage QRT systems to optimize/extend current workflow</li> <li>Take ownership of existing tools / infrastructure to help scale with QRT growth</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Your present skillset</strong></p> <p></p> <ul type="disc"> <li data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">A minimum of 5 years of experience writing industrialized, mission-critical Python code</li> <li>Experience with the following is a plus</li> <ul type="disc"> <li>Any strongly typed programming language is a plus (C#, C++)</li> <li>Dashboarding (Dash, Tableau, etc)</li> <li>Cloud platforms (AWS) experience is a plus</li> </ul> <li>Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a global team</li> <li>Designing clean and maintainable software architecture</li> <li>Any experience in finance (buy or sell side) would be beneficial ; good knowledge of power markets would be ideal</li> <li>Rigorous and analytical thinker</li> <li>Excellent communication skills is a must</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p></p> <p><em>QRT is an equal opportunity employer.
