Founded in 1982 by Sir Stephen Tindall, the first ‘red shed’ challenged established retailers and proved popular with customers as a result of its simple style, and wide range of products at bargain prices. The Warehouse has become a Kiwi household name, and we proudly recognise the role that we play in communities throughout New Zealand.

Since 1991, Warehouse Stationery has also been successfully innovating in the stationery-retail sector and overtime we have incorporated more of this business within The Warehouse stores as a ‘Store within a Store’ (SWAS) to serve our valued customers with a true ‘one stop shop’ for all their personal, household and office needs.

Hours and days of work: 

• Tuesday to Saturday - 1pm - 9:30pm

Are you ready to take the next step in your retail leadership career? We’re looking for a Trading 2IC to join our team and help drive success in our Stationery, Copy Centre and Technology departments.

As a key leader in-store, you’ll:

• Oversee merchandising standards and ensure pricing integrity.
• Lead and coach your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Support store operations, including opening, closing, and sole-charge responsibilities.
• Drive sales performance through effective planning, execution, and coaching.
• Maintain planograms, promotional compliance, and stock availability.
