Position Summary

The Host serves as the first point of contact for members and their guests in our dining areas. This role is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere while managing reservations, coordinating seating, and supporting smooth dining room operations. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, and attentive to detail, with a strong commitment to exceptional member service.


  

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests promptly and courteously upon arrival
  • Manage dining reservations and waitlists using the club’s reservation system
  • Coordinate seating to ensure optimal flow and member satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff
  • Maintain an organized host stand and entrance area
  • Uphold club standards of etiquette, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Assist with special events, private functions, and member requests
  • Address member concerns politely and escalate issues to management when needed

Requirements

  

Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or fine dining preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of reservation systems a plus
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed
