Are you detail-oriented and ready to play a crucial role in our financial operations? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our drop and count process. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the assets of the Casino by accurately handling and counting cash boxes from gaming machines, table games, and ticket redemption kiosks, all while adhering to established policies, procedures, and gaming regulations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect and Transport: Remove, exchange, and collect all gaming machine and table game drop boxes, transporting them to the count room.
  • Accurate Counting: Count and record currency, coin, and tickets (clipping, strapping, bundling, and bagging as appropriate) from gaming machines, table games, and ticket redemption kiosks.
  • Record Keeping: Document mutilated and counterfeit currency and coin, reporting findings to TGA, the Cage, and Finance.
  • Verification and Reconciliation: Perform verification, reconciliation, and balancing functions, including drafting or preparing necessary documentation.
  • Fund Management: Verify funds balance to totals and hand over funds to a cage cashier upon completion of the cage verify process.
  • Operational Efficiency: Understand and efficiently operate all machines used in the course of business, including counting machines and other information systems, both software and hardware.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Previous cash handling, cage or count experience preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
