About the Role

Description

The Pricing Lead is a critical role on the pricing team that will be dedicated to supporting one of four regions within FSG. The Pricing Lead bridges strategic pricing initiatives with tactical execution and will be responsible for implementing and executing regional pricing strategies that align with corporate goals and market dynamics. This role will focus on developing and delivering pricing training, providing field support, and partnering closely with regional sales teams to achieve pricing targets and maximize margin performance. This is a strategic and hands-on role that requires strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence and support cross-functional teams.


Salary: $105k-$130k a year, depending on experience


Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Develop Regional Pricing Strategies:
    Design and deploy competitive, market-aligned pricing strategies that support business goals and customer value in partnership with the assigned region leadership team.
  • Price Execution Support:
    Partner with regional field teams to ensure pricing strategies are effectively loaded in the system and executed by the field. Provide real-time pricing guidance and performance analysis.
  • Training & Capability Building:
    Create, deliver, and continuously improve pricing training programs to enhance pricing acumen across the sales and field organizations.
  • Monitor Market Trends & Competitor Pricing:
    Stay informed about market dynamics, competitor behavior, and customer needs to inform pricing adjustments and strategic direction.
  • Performance Management:
    Track, analyze, and report on pricing performance metrics. Proactively identify risks and opportunities to optimize margin and revenue outcomes.
  • Financial Accountability:
    Own the pricing component of regional financial objectives. Contribute to budget planning, forecasting, and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Finance teams to align pricing strategies with broader business priorities.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive business results
  • Excellent communication and training skills; ability to influence and support field teams.
  • Strong relationship, collaboration, and customer support skills. Demonstrated ability to engage and partner with field teams.
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Proficiency with pricing data analysis and Power BI. Demonstrated ability to use data to develop actionable insights and solutions with measurable results
  • Self-motivated with the ability to be effective in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrixed, and changing organization and manage through complexity.

Travel: Minimum 15% expected


Qualifications:

  • Pricing-related experience required; prefer 3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
