About the Role

Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) – Free Standing ED (FSED) | Flexible Shifts

Location: Tallahassee, FL 32303
Schedule: Flexible Shifts | Full-Time
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)

  • 5+ years: $33.00/hr

  • 10+ years: $36.30/hr

  • 15+ years: $39.60/hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage, assess, and treat patients across all age groups in an emergency care environment

  • Develop and execute individualized care plans to support optimal outcomes

  • Prioritize and manage multiple emergency cases efficiently

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff for coordinated patient care

  • Provide patient education and post-care instructions, including necessary referrals

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent acute care ER RN experience

  • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma required

  • Licensure: Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license (or ability to obtain before start)

  • Certifications Required:

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) – prior to start

    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – within 90 days of hire

    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – within 90 days of hire

    • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention – within 90 days of hire
