Salary: $27.09–$37.92/hour + $10K sign-on bonus (nights) or $5K (days) + $2/hour on-call pay + $2.50/hour night differential

Your Role as a Medical Technologist

As a Medical Technologist , you’ll perform vital clinical laboratory testing to support patient care. Here’s what you’ll do:

Conduct stat and routine lab tests in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, and other sections under written procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Analyze and interpret patient results using independent judgment to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Perform quality control procedures, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and maintain compliance with CAP and other regulatory standards.
Handle specimen collection, processing, and referral testing as needed.
Monitor reagent and supply inventories, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Support the department in achieving goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, and patient satisfaction.

Who We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Scientist.
Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology preferred.
Certifications: Active State of Florida Technologist License required.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with lab information systems.
