<p>As a Staff Engineer in the Cloud Engineering team, you'll work with the engineers in our global engineering department, shaping how millions of people experience Trustpilot.</p>
<p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Working within the Cloud Engineering team to make Trustpilot’s clouds safer, more secure, stable, scalable, and more cost-effective.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the staff engineering cohort to agree on technical approaches to platform-wide problems.</li>
<li>Bring the product delivery teams together with the Cloud Engineering team to create cohesive, achievable plans, aligned with company goals, key milestone deadlines, and user experience standards.</li>
<li>Develop, implement, and share innovative strategies to ensure the quality, production readiness, scalability, and ongoing health of our apps and systems.</li>
<li>Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rota to support the Trustpilot platform.</li>
<li>Manage and mitigate high-risk elements of projects, effectively communicating issues, risks, and dependencies with stakeholders.</li>
<li>Team up with engineering leadership and the staff engineering cohort to recruit, develop, and support highly qualified professionals.</li>
<li>Regularly impart your knowledge and pursue opportunities to instruct others in technologies, standards, and best practices.</li>
<li>Cultivate a collaborative environment, actively listening to and integrating diverse perspectives to reach shared goals.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Your experience has given you:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Several years of experience in Software Engineering at a Senior, Principal, or Staff Engineer level.</li>
<li>Extensive experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS), AWS (Cloudfront, WAF, API Gateway, ECS, Lambda, SNS, SQS).</li>
<li>Knowledge of Terraform, Cloudformation, and Typescript-based Full-Stack service/microservice Development (e.g., Node.js)</li>
<li>Experience with modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Vue.js)</li>
<li>Highly adept, detail-oriented professional with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.</li>
<li>Comprehensive knowledge of Agile methodologies.</li>
<li>Experience delivering scalable systems that solve complex technical challenges at scale.</li>
<li>Extensive stakeholder management experience with a focus on working across multiple functions/domains and the ability to create alignment across diverse teams.</li>
<li>Experience in mentoring and helping other engineers grow their technical skills.</li>
<li>A commitment to contribute to the future of Trustpilot, and the ability to make crucial technical decisions pragmatically.</li>
<li>A customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset with a bias towards action.</li>
<li>The ability to communicate complex problems easily to a diverse group of stakeholders.</li>
<li>Exposure to or experience with App development (iOS, Android, and cross-platform frameworks)</li>
