The Sales & Production Associate is responsible for sorting and preparing merchandise for sale on the retail floor, housekeeping and safety, and loss prevention in adherence to all company and store policies/standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other responsibilities may be assigned):
- Assist customers with selection and purchase
- Handles cash and operates POS systems
- Provides excellent customer service
- Sorts and prepares merchandise for the shipment to the sales floor
- Assist in stock rotation and maintaining racks in an organized and presentable manner
- Meets or exceeds hourly production goals ensuring daily goals are met
- Maintains a clean, neat and stocked processing area along with safe and secure facility
- Adheres to merchandising standards through product replenishment, display maintenance, colorization, sizing and inventory classification.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Using effective communications skills, including writing and verbal to convey information as appropriate for the need of the audience
- Must be fluent in English
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Able to use a calculator and cash register.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Identifies customer needs, addresses issues, and provides excellent customer service.
- Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Demonstrate consistent, positive behavior with internal and external customers.
- Seeing the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, inventory and other resources.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Continually able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, necessary to provide sales floor coverage related to customer service and loss prevention.
- Continually able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product, necessary for customer service, inventory re-stock, and store merchandising.
- Continually able to walk up and down a staircase, carrying boxes, products, and other necessary store-related items.
- Ability to regularly perform store maintenance items: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean.
- Ability to safely lift boxes up to 55 lbs.
