About the Role

Description

Precision Healthcare Specialists is seeking an experienced and organized Sleep Lab Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Sleep Medicine department. This role is responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, maintaining high-quality patient care, and supporting the clinical and administrative functions of the sleep lab.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the sleep lab, including scheduling, staffing, and patient flow
     
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate sleep lab staff (sleep technologists, technicians, and support staff)
     
  • Ensure compliance with AASM standards, state regulations, and organizational policies
     
  • Monitor quality assurance, patient safety, and clinical outcomes
     
  • Coordinate with sleep physicians and providers to support diagnostic and treatment services
     
  • Manage equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory
     
  • Oversee documentation, scoring accuracy, and EMR compliance
     
  • Assist with budgeting, payroll approvals, and staffing needs
     
  • Address patient concerns and ensure a high level of patient satisfaction
     
  • Support accreditation surveys, audits, and inspections
     
  • Collaborate with leadership on process improvement and departmental growth

Requirements

 

  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) preferred
     
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of sleep lab or sleep medicine experience
     
  • Prior supervisory or management experience required
     
  • Strong knowledge of sleep study procedures, scoring, and sleep lab workflows
     
  • Familiarity with AASM accreditation standards
     
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
     
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and sleep lab software
     
  • BLS/CPR certification required
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing multiple sleep lab locations
     
  • Experience with accreditation preparation and maintenance
     
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
