Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Location: Fort Meade, MD

Client: DISA

Clearance: Active Secret clearance (or eligible for Interim Secret Clearance)

The candidate will help drive solutions and management architectures in support of Tier III
Will work in the DISA lab to provide feedback on current solutions, keep current on vendor products and help drive future architectures
Document and brief system architecture and changes
Will require occasional on call duty (weekends and after hours)

Requirements

Required Experience/Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
Min 3 years Windows Server system administration, management, and support experience within a MS Active Directory environment.
2+ years’ experience with SCCM

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

Experience with network and security management tools (such as IBM NetCool, HP IMC, ArcSight, or Splunk) a plus
Working experience with network security products (Firewalls, IDSs, SIEMs) a plus
Full VMware Vcenter training (certified with experience)
Ability to learn Veeam Backup tools and/or experience with Veeam
Windows Sys Admin and Active Directory training and experience
Ability to learn GITLAB, SCP and TFTP tools (and manage them) and/or experience using these tools
Ability to learn CloudShell and TestShell
Good understanding of networking concepts
Good system documentation skills and customer service skills
Minimally requires an active Secret clearance
