ABOUT OUR COMPANY

· Adjacent to Kapalua, Maui's 750 acre premier resort community, The Gardens at West Maui is nearby to a host of championship golf courses, resort restaurants, cafes and shops. "America's Favorite beach” at Kapalua Bay is within walking distance.

· Maui Banyan is located in Kihei on Maui's sunny south coast near to the golden sands of Kamaole Beach and is surrounded by coconut palms, the beautiful West Maui Mountains and the Island of Lanai and Molokai decorate the view.

· Maui Beach Vacation Club is situated on the southwest coast of Maui and is home to spectacular ocean views.

ROLE

Ensure proper maintenance of the interior Vacation Club facilities at Sands of Kahana and Kahana Villa, as well as the interior and exterior resort facilities at Hono Koa, The Gardens of West Maui and Kahana Beach Resorts through fulfillment of guest requests and on-going preventative maintenance. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Maintain a flexible work schedule and be on call for emergencies.

· Effectively address all maintenance requires and ensure completion of all work orders in a timely manner.

· Keep accurate and current records of all work orders and maintenance related services performed.

· Oversee repairs and maintenance for swimming pools, plumbing, electrical, lighting, mechanical, pumps, generators, elevators, fire system, carpentry, drywall, painting, tile work, concrete and drainage.

· Complete regular inspections of Maui Resorts, including but not limited to roofs, buildings, roadways, parking lots, pools, mechanical rooms, recreational facilities, offices and lobbies. 

· Maintain preventative maintenance programs.

· Ensure timely processing of all departmental invoices with proper purchase order numbers.

· Keep maintenance shop, parts room and storage areas clean and organized.

· Maintain inventory and order supplies to ensure par levels.

· Ensure employees follow all safety procedures.

· Ensure proper training of all maintenance personnel.

· Assign on call personnel for 24/7 coverage of all facilities.

· Collect work orders daily and ensure that work tasks are divided equally among maintenance engineers. 

· Ensure that work orders are completed in a timely manner.

· Create work schedules in the absence of the General Manager.

· Appropriately document accidents and incidents

· Conduct coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action.

· Recruit, interview, hire and train new employees.

· Perform all other job requests as assigned by management.

Requirements

 REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum two years maintenance experience and six months supervisory experience.

· Effective oral and written English skills.

· Basic math skills. 

· Must have valid Drivers License.
