Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and performing maintenance activities that support safe, efficient, and reliable production at our Gallipolis, OH manufacturing facility. This role supervises maintenance technicians while remaining hands-on with troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment repairs to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plans, coordinates, and oversee all maintenance functions within facility.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules.
- Coordinate emergency repairs to minimize production interruptions.
- Assist in developing and managing the maintenance and facility budget.
- Lead, train, and assign work to maintenance technicians.
- CNC Troubleshooting.
- Maintain and clean the process water and coolant evaporation system.
- Label, transport, and properly store all non-hazardous and hazardous waste containers within the facility.
- Transport items within the facility including, but not limited to metal chips, cardboard, paper, trash, pallets, equipment, drums, etc.
- Identifies and corrects safety and environmental issues as they arise.
- Learn new processes and procedures.
- Actively participate in performance feedback and coaching process for all maintenance technicians.
- Ensure exterior areas are clean, safe, and free of hazards that could impact employees, visitors, or the community.
Requirements
Education Requirements
- Associate degree in related field or 4 years of related experience.
Experience Requirement
- 5 Years of supervisory/management experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification.
Preferred Experience or Skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to use basic computer systems (e.g., for reporting, communication, scheduling, time entry).
Physical and Work Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work around machinery and moving equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Occasional off-shift, weekend, or emergency call-in work may be required.

Policies and procedures include, but not limited to: ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental), and functional policies.
