About the Role

................ For our client located in Bern, we are looking for a motivated Senior Full Stack Developer. In this role, you are responsible for the end-to-end development, operation, and continuous improvement of our master data management applications within an international DevOps team across Switzerland and Spain. Your task: <ul> <li>End-to-end development of business-critical applications within a DevOps team, including implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support</li> <li>Design, development, and maintenance of backend services based on Java and Spring (Spring Data, Hibernate)</li> <li>Development and maintenance of frontend components using Angular (Kendo UI)</li> <li>Design and implementation of RESTful APIs and integration with internal and external systems</li> <li>Development and optimization of relational database models, including complex SQL and ETL scripts (DML/DDL)</li> <li>Operation and deployment of applications on Kubernetes-based platforms</li> <li>Close collaboration with cross-functional and international teams in an agile Scrum environment</li> <li>Active contribution to code quality, system stability, and continuous improvement of development and DevOps processes</li> </ul> Your profile: <ul> <li>Strong expertise in Java (Core Java, OOP, design patterns, data structures) with at least 5 years of professional experience</li> <li>IT education; an academic degree in computer science or a related field is a plus</li> <li>Solid experience with Spring Framework, in particular Spring Data and Hibernate</li> <li>Practical experience in frontend development with Angular (experience with Kendo UI is a plus)</li> <li>Strong knowledge of relational databases and the ability to write complex SQL and ETL scripts</li> <li>Advanced hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s)</li> <li>Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs</li> <li>Familiarity with DevOps principles and full application lifecycle responsibility</li> <li>High level of persistence in solving complex problems, proactive mindset, and strong sense of ownership</li> <li>Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and take personal responsibility for deliverables</li> <li>Fluent English in a professional, international working environment</li> </ul>
