Today, our 88+ Crosby’s stores are found in many small towns, villages, and suburban communities. Many locations serve as gathering spots, reliable fuel stations, convenience and grocery shopping, in addition to being a go-to destination for breakfast, pizza & subs. We are honored to support our local fire departments, school districts, youth sports leagues, community programs, and charitable organizations. Our history throughout the communities we serve runs deep, and with over 100 years in the business, you can begin to understand why. In 1922, at the dawn of the automobile era, J. Ward Reid Sr.’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to open a one-pump gasoline service station at Lake Avenue and Clinton Street in Lockport, NY. By the turn of the century, and with two significant convenience chain acquisitions, K&K Food Mart stores in 2002 and Crosby Dairy Mart stores in 2004; Reid Stores, Inc. was established to focus on the direct operation of company owned and operated convenience stores. In 2006, these stores converged to operate under one cohesive moniker, Crosby’s. In 2010, with the acquisition of Erie Petroleum, Crosby’s gained further reach into Northwestern Pennsylvania. By this time, our company had now reached nearly 50 locations spanning from Brockport, NY to Erie, PA. In 2017, MWS Enterprises was acquired, adding nearly 40 new Crosby’s owned and operated locations, covering Ontario to Chautauqua County.
