About the Role

Calling all SEO superheroes! FUN.com is assembling a powerful new team member to help take our online presence to legendary status.

As the ultimate destination for fun and fantastical finds, FUN.com needs an SEO Specialist ready to conquer algorithms, defeat digital invisibility, and keep our website shining across the search universe.

You’ll wield keywords like a superhero weapon, optimize content with precision, and move faster than Quicksilver through rankings and analytics. If you’re ready to turn clicks into conversions and searches into victories, this is your moment to assemble.

Requirements

**Please note: this SEO posting requires being on site 2 days/week at our North Mankato, MN office**


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize various tools to analyze and track website performance
  • Analyze different data sets to determine strategy and course of action
  • Perform keyword research and manage large keyword lists
  • Audit and make recommendations for on-page SEO opportunities
  • Strategize, experiment, and plan SEO elements with SEM Team
  • Research best marketing practices to develop new techniques and strategies
  • Provide direction to copywriting and blogging staff on target keywords
  • Stay up to date on current trends within the industry and our key competitors
  • Collaboration with a variety of teams and knowledge share of best SEO practices

  • Promote and sustain a fun and inclusive work environment where all team members can be their FUN-of-a-kind selves and actively contribute their thoughts, ideas, and work to the continuous improvement of what we do.
  • Work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures (including but not limited policies and procedures related to employment, department operational flow, and health & safety).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


Minimum Required Education and Experience:

  • Associates Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Technology, or equivalent SEO experience
  • Proven capacity to perform repetitious tasks and execute simple mathematical formulas
  • Proven logical decision making and organizational skills
  • Experience building/using websites
  • Background in consumer behavior

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Technology, or equivalent SEO experience
  • Understanding knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Google Analytics Certified
  • Experience with Botify, SEMRush, MOZ, or similar tools
  • Demonstrate high level of technical SEO expertise
  • Experience with writing AI prompts to create content

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:


Has a basic understanding of and can complete low complexity projects using:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
  • Basic understanding of SEO
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Detail-orientated with strong attention to follow-through
  • Must enjoy data analysis. Like a lot of data analysis.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and concisely, both internally and externally.
