Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a permanent night-shift opportunity in Ocala, Florida.
The Emergency Room RN provides high-quality nursing care to patients ranging from minor injuries to acutely and critically ill conditions in a fast-paced emergency department. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making skills, and the ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages.
• Identify expected outcomes for individualized patient care plans.
• Develop and implement care strategies to meet patient needs.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while prioritizing care appropriately.
• Provide follow-up care instructions and coordinate necessary referrals.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital departments while maintaining a patient-focused and safety-aware approach.
Compensation
Hourly Pay Range (Based on Experience)
• $30.60/hour (entry level)
• $38.25/hour (approximately 10 years of experience)
• $45.90/hour (maximum | ~17+ years of experience)
Shift Differentials
• Night shift: $4.25/hour
• Weekend shift: $3.00/hour
(Weekend defined as Friday 11:00 PM – Sunday 11:00 PM; must work 4+ productive hours to qualify)
Sign-On Bonus
• $15,000 sign-on bonus for night shift
Additional Information
• Relocation assistance: Case by case
• Day shifts are now available for this role
Requirements
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license for the position you are applying for.
• Florida RN license or valid multistate compact license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent (within the last 2–3 years) acute care RN experience required.
(ED, ICU, or PCU experience preferred; paramedic background a plus.)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of employment start.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 90 days of employment start.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within 6 months of employment start.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention required within 6 months of employment start.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 6 months of employment start.
