About the Role

Description

Iron Tee Golf is seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a smooth operation for our culinary team.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
  • Scrape, pre-rinse, or soak dirty dishes to remove food particles and grease before loading them into the dishwasher.
  • Efficiently load and unload dishwashing machines, stacking items securely to maximize washing capacity.
  • Hand wash delicate or oversized items that cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher.
  • Sort and store clean dishes and utensils in appropriate storage areas, ensuring they are readily available for kitchen and service staff.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize dishwashing equipment, sinks, and work areas to maintain a hygienic and organized workspace.
  • Empty trash cans and recycling bins in the dishwashing area and kitchen, replacing trash bags as needed.
  • Assist kitchen staff in tasks such as food prep or assisting line cooks during busy periods.
  • Follow safety protocols for handling kitchen equipment and chemicals, including the safe operation of dishwashing machines.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Familiarity with restaurant standards and hospitality
  • Good communication skills, and experience working with staff on all levels.
  • Ability to stand for hours at a time, including maneuvering up and down stairs.
  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at-a-time without assistance.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
