About the Role

Description

The Marketing Director is responsible for leading and executing all marketing, branding, and communications efforts for GSB. This role owns strategy and hands-on execution across advertising, design, web management, public relations, events, and community engagement. 


The Marketing Director balances strategy and execution – setting marketing direction aligned with the bank’s goals while also managing day-to-day production, timelines, budgets and approvals. The role requires strong judgement, organization, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work cross-functionally with compliance, operations, IT, retail and leadership. 


Job Description

· Develop and execute the bank’s overall marketing strategy in alignment with growth and organizational goals 

· Lead and manage advertising campaigns across digital, print, social, radio and community channels 

· Design and produce marketing collateral, branch signage, and digital assets 

· Manage and maintain the bank’s website, including page creation, content updates and issue resolution 

· Manage and post to the bank’s social media pages

· Serve as steward of the bank’s brand, ensuring consistency and quality across all touchpoints 

· Lead public relations, press releases, and key communication 

· Plan and execute sponsorships, community events and branch initiatives 

· Track performance, report results, and continuously improve marketing effectiveness

· Manage marketing vendors, tools and budgets as needed

· Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, IT, Compliance, Retail and HR for all marketing needs 

Qualifications 

· Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Design or a related field 

· 5+ years of marketing experience 

· Proven experience managing Meta and Google advertising platforms 

· Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)

· Experience managing and editing websites built on WordPress

· Strong project management and organizational skills 

· Ability to operate independently and prioritize across multiple initiatives 

· Familiarity with SEO, analytics, and conversion tracking
