About The Company
Collecting flying warbirds for half a century, the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) is the largest flying museum in the world. The CAF is a nonprofit aviation association dedicated to Honoring American Military Aviation through flight, exhibition and remembrance by maintaining a flying museum of classic military aircraft. The CAF has more than 12,000 members and its fleet of 162 historic aircraft is distributed to 73 units located in 24 states for care and operation. These units, comprised of CAF members and volunteers, restore and operate the planes which are viewed by more than 10 million spectators annually. More than just a collection of flyable warbirds, the Commemorative Air Force’s fleet of historic aircraft, known as the “Ghost Squadron,” recreate, remind and reinforce the lessons learned from the defining moments in American military aviation history. The demands of aerial combat drove the great technological advances in aviation that occurred during and after World War II. Many different types of aircraft were developed, often designed for very specific missions. Members engage with the mission to protect these rare flying monuments to freedom. They keep them in flying condition, repair, rebuild and pilot these unique assets. Future generations will benefit from the CAF’s preservation efforts, educational programs, museum exhibits and airshows.

This position blends video production, editing, webinar and podcast production, and live audiovisual support. It is a fast-paced, production-heavy role with a steady weekly output and some additional demands around events and travel. Key Responsibilities

Video Production & Content Creation

  • Film and edit short-form and long-form video content for internal communications, social media, websites, and external marketing.
  • Capture video footage at airshows, tours, events, and CAF activities as needed—often in dynamic, outdoor, and time-sensitive environments.
  • Edit existing footage into regular weekly content for the CAF YouTube channel and other platforms.

Webinar, Podcast & Weekly Show Production

  • Produce and manage a weekly CAF program that serves as:
    • A live or recorded webinar
    • A video blog for YouTube
    • An audio podcast distributed across podcast platforms
  • Handle all aspects of production, including pre-production planning, live production, recording, post-production editing, and final delivery.
  • Coordinate with hosts, guests, and internal staff to ensure consistent quality, smooth execution, and on-time release.

Post-Production & Media Management

  • Edit video and audio content using professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred).
  • Organize, label, and archive video assets to maintain a functional and searchable media library.
  • Format and optimize content for multiple platforms, including YouTube, social media, internal use, and public distribution.

Audiovisual & Event Support

  • Provide AV setup, operation, and troubleshooting for meetings, presentations, events, and live programs at CAF Headquarters and off-site locations.
  • Support sound, video, projection, and livestream needs for internal meetings and public-facing events.
  • Maintain and manage the AV equipment inventory, ensuring gear is operational, organized, and ready for use.
