We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office.


This position is Sunday through Thursday from 3pm - 11:30pm.


Responsibilities:

- Greet and check-in patients, obtain medical history and vital signs

- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures

- Prepare and administer medications as directed by physicians

- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures

- Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies

- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program

- Certification as a Medical Assistant

- All applicants must present a valid Medical Assistant Diploma at the time of hire, with a California certified credential within 60 days of employment.

- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures

- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Must reside in California and be able to perform work onsite.
