About the Role

Strategize, direct, and implement QA practices for AXA AMS following Industry standards, AXA AMS Quality framework. Define and maintain process standards by providing a framework to establish standard performance measures based on goals and objectives including tracking and monitoring.

Should be detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our Testing & Quality Assurance team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our application development throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). He or she will develop and implement a robust Quality Management Framework, conduct management reporting, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), lead quality audits, and oversee quality processes and governance to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with organizational standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide strategic direction to sustain and support QA established processes and practices 

  • Create Delivery Review (QA) and Gate Governance specially on highly visible, complex, strategic projec

  • Ability to handle and implement internal AXA projects and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Establish and implement Organization High Maturity Practices based on industry frameworks and standards

  • Can provide IT SDLC best practices, Operational Excellence, and QA techniques

     

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management Framework aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.

  • Participate in and support all phases of the SDLC, ensuring quality standards are integrated into each stage.

  • Design, execute, and oversee test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and security.

  • Conduct regular quality audits to assess adherence to established processes, standards, and policies.

  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for defects, issues, and process deviations to identify underlying causes and implement corrective actions.

  •  Prepare, analyze, and present management reports on quality metrics, defect trends, and process compliance.

  •  Develop and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, standards, and checklists. Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes, tools, and methodologies.

     

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and business analysts to promote quality awareness and ensure best practices.

     

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance policies.

     

  • Provide training and guidance to team members on quality standards, testing techniques, and process improvements.

 

 



 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar role within an IT Software Development environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in creating and implementing Quality Management Frameworks.
  • Proficiency in quality assurance tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, etc.).
  • Experience in management reporting, KPI development, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Familiarity with quality audits, compliance standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Must have certification in both Quality Assurance Framework
  • Must have audit experience in other IT industry frameworks and standards, e.g., TMMI, Prince2, CMMI, ITIL, ISO, etc.
  • Must have experience working in global companies, preferably following an onshore-offshore model, with key understandings of the country characteristics, culture, and work style
  • Has implemented Organizational Process Maturity Models
  • Must have good communication skills and stakeholder management.
