Job Description

We are looking for a Commis Chef that will specialise in pastry and:

  • Cook well in a team while pre-empting the needs of customers and your co-workers
  • Uphold the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices.
  • Engage in ongoing learning to refine your skills and stay up-to-date with culinary trends
  • Create and prepare desserts/pastries for the kitchen team

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work in a rotating roster 
  • Experience in working as a pastry chef
  • Experience in a similar role
  • A team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
  • Hospitality Certifications are preferred but not required
  • Experience in hotels is preferred but no required
