ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Heartline Staffing is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a full-time, permanent opportunity in Hudson, Florida. Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.

This role provides comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients requiring close monitoring, frequent assessments, and timely clinical interventions. The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered outcomes.

In this role, the ICU RN will administer medications in accordance with physician orders, monitor patient responses, and document all care accurately in the medical record. The nurse will educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and care plans while maintaining a high standard of professionalism, critical thinking, and service excellence.

This position supports patients across multiple ICU specialties, including MICU, SICU, and CSU, and requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and effective communication skills in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Employment Details:

This is a permanent, full-time position working night shifts with rotating weekends. Compensation is based on experience and includes sign-on bonus eligibility and relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis.

Compensation:

Hourly pay range of $33.00–$46.00 based on years of experience

Additional Compensation:

Sign-on bonus up to $25,000

Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis

Requirements

• Active Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure
• If compact license is held, active Florida RN license required within 60 days of hire
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Previous acute care nursing experience strongly required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required within 6 months of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 6 months of hire
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and document accurately
• Candidates with MICU, SICU, or CSU experience will be considered
