Heartline Staffing is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a full-time, permanent opportunity in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.
This role provides high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring, frequent assessments, and complex interventions. The ICU RN functions autonomously while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced critical care environment.
The ICU Registered Nurse serves as a patient and family advocate, protects patient privacy and confidentiality, and delivers care aligned with professional nursing standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act. This position requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage rapidly changing patient conditions.
Employment Details:
This is a permanent, full-time position with rotating weekends. Day and night shifts are available. Compensation is based on experience and includes shift differentials, sign-on bonus eligibility, and relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis.
Salary Range:
$26.40 – $36.30 per hour (up to 10 years of experience)
Up to $39.60 per hour (18+ years of experience)
Additional Compensation:
Night shift differential: $4.25/hour
Specialty differential: $1.50/hour
Sign-on bonus: $15,000
Relocation assistance: Case by case
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start
- Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care ICU experience within the last 3 years
- BLS required
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- BSN preferred
- CCRN preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
