Housekeeper

Description

Delta Gamma Sorority at the University of Florida is currently seeking a full-time or part-time housekeeper Monday - Friday, with an occasional weekend due to an event. The salary range for the position is $16.00 - $17.00 an hour.

The Housekeeper is responsible for a variety of general cleaning to maintain bathrooms, common rooms, hallways and other assigned areas in the house.

Job duties include:

• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping all common areas such as living rooms, dining rooms and hallways.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and showers.
• Sanitizes and cleans counter tops and sinks.
• Empties trash containers on all floors.
• Keeps furniture placement aligned and staged appropriately.
• Restocks restrooms and cleaning supplies.
• Deep cleaning of the house during the summer.

Requirements

Prior housekeeping experience at a sorority or hotel preferred.
