About The Company

French Truck Coffee was founded in April 2012 by Geoffrey Meeker, who has been in the Food & Beverage industry for 30 years. His education includes a culinary degree, which he uses to bring a unique point of view to the coffee business. He started French Truck Coffee in the laundry room of his Carrollton home with a 5-kilo roaster, and used the little yellow truck to deliver the coffee. After, many farmer’s market appearances, sales to restaurants and cafés followed. Bobby Winston joined the team early on as one of its first Head Roasters. He is now an owner and French Truck Coffee’s Green Buyer. The French Truck Coffee that you know today is an outgrowth of the time and commitment of many people with one common thread: they love taking care of people as much as they love coffee.

About the Role

Description

The Production Assistant works as a part of the production team at their respective roastery. Our Production Assistants help with packaging, bagging and labeling all coffee and tea to production standards. They are also tasked with assisting in our cold brew processes, general equipment upkeep, and other tasks as assigned by their supervisor. We expect all Production Assistants to have an intimate knowledge of our products and offerings

Requirements

Prior experience in food product manufacturing preferred
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Able to stand for prolonged periods of time frequently
