 A2Z Workforce is hiring experienced Production Assemblers for a fast-paced warehouse in South Phoenix. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a respected company offering great long-term benefits once hired on. 


 

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble panel components using hand tools and power tools, such as drills, impact drivers, and grinders to assist in the assembly process.
  • Follow established processes to complete daily operational tasks within defined standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of assembled panels to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, while identifying and addressing any defects.
  • Work closely with other team members to achieve production goals and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to read and interpret production specifications and drawings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software programs.
  • Great interpersonal skills are essential to operate in and maintain a team environment.
  • Great communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-1 years of previous experience in manufacturing preferred.

- Washer Operation 
- Vinyl Application and Trimming 
- Operator the Seamer 
- Clean the Washer 
- Change Seamer Belts 
- Off Loading of Carts 
- Grid Application 
- Capping 
- Changing Spacer 
- Press Oven Operation 
- Inspection Essential Functions 
- Ability to complete all tasks within required position capably and efficiently. 
- Understands and promotes team and company culture. 
- Understands and follows company policies, such as attendance and conduct. 
- Embraces team member’s role in profit sharing and makes positive contributions. 
- Demonstrates teamwork skills and gives best effort under all circumstances. 
- Consistently focuses on assigned task both physically and mentally.

- Understand that overtime required with short notice.

- Constant standing up to 12 of hours a day 
- Frequent walking throughout assembly facilities  
- Frequent bending/stooping/squatting  
- Occasional reaching overhead when handling glass 
- Frequent reaching/pushing/pulling away from body  
- Frequent pushing with minimal or maximum force to maneuver the glass down the production line on rollers  
- Frequent carrying up to 50 lbs.  
- Frequent repetitive hand/foot/head/neck movements required     


Other: Temperatures will vary. Dusty and noisy environment when operating machines and tools. Safety shoes, ear and eye protection required always in all plants. Additional PPE may be required depending on location or task.
