About the Role

American Lumper Services is a growing nationwide warehouse management company, and we are currently looking for a Warehouse Office Assistant in the Lansing area. If you’re looking for a great job with a consistent schedule and weekly pay, then you have come to the right place. This position will start as a short-term assignment but has the potential of becoming long-term.


Under general supervision, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for answering phone calls and emails, providing details to drivers on delivery locations, responding to customers, carrier partners, and drivers’ questions and concerns, and assisting the team with administrative duties/billing/inventory and client/staff interactions/meetings.


We are looking for someone that can take initiative and problem solve, that can adapt to new responsibilities or software, and can interact with our drivers, suppliers, warehouse staff, and other office admins in a kind and respectful way.

strong communication skills, (written and verbal)

Has great at customer service skills and enjoys problem solving....

Has Warehouse experience....

Has STRONG background with computers and can adapt to new software...

MUST BE proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) email, and phones....

Is great at time management and possesses strong critical thinking skills....

Monday through Friday

Weekly Pay! - $17/HR

Hours: 6:00am -2:30pm

 

Benefits:

  • Health Insurance- after 90 days
  • PTO- (accrual starts from day 1, but cannot be used until day 90)
  • 401K- after 180 days (6 months)
