No prior experience is required—we're looking for individuals with great communication and customer service skills who are eager to learn the trade!


As a Drain Technician, you’ll evaluate customer needs, provide repair options, and perform drain cleaning services. You’ll have the chance to work both independently and as part of a supportive team. We value good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Diagnose and clear drain blockages using cable machines, hydro-jetters, & other equipment
  • Perform sewer camera inspections to identify issues such as breaks, roots, or bellies
  • Repair or replace drain and sewer lines as needed (minor repairs or assisting with larger excavations)
  • Locate sewer and water lines using locating equipment
  • Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring understanding of system operation and any necessary maintenance
  • Identify opportunities to offer additional services, upgrades, or preventative maintenance
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned daily, weekly, or monthly performance goals
  • Fulfill on-call duties according to the department schedule
  • Accurately record work performed, materials used, and hours worked
  • Safely operate and maintain assigned company vehicle and equipment

Requirements

  • Experience in drain cleaning, plumbing, or related field preferred
  • Valid plumbing apprenticeship required, may be obtained upon hire
  • Knowledge of residential and/or commercial sewer systems preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good character and ability to work well within a team
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Neat, clean, and organized work habits
  • Strong work ethic
