About the Role

What you’ll do

  • Networks are our key asset and enabler to better serve new and existing customers. V
  • Vodafone is a rapidly changing company that constantly invests in improving and optimising the network.
  • As part of this effort, we are looking for someone with high organizational and engagement skills to work within the Network Business Engagement team to ensure that commercial priorities are aligned with Vodafone CZ network strategic priorities.
  • This requires a candidate with business acumen and who has experience with defining and communicating a business and technology strategy - and can engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • They will be able to successfully bridge the gap between the Networks and Commercial Teams.
  • In particular they will help prioritise and communicate the Networks’ initiatives, opportunities and constraints in order to support the commercial, marketing and brand teams to best serve existing customers and support the launch of new propositions.
  • On the other hand, the candidate will make sure that any decision regarding network strategy and investments reflects the relevant commercial strategies.
  • This role requires a candidate who is comfortable dealing with ambiguity, works well managing a matrix organisation, has great inter-personal skills and is passionate about technology.

What skills we need

  • Proven ability to think strategically about business, products and technology.

  • Wide experience in the Telco sector. Good knowledge of Mobile and Fixed markets and Networks

  • Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

    · Proven ability to think strategically about business, products and technology.

    · Wide experience in the Telco sector. Good knowledge of Mobile and Fixed markets and Networks.

    · Excellent communication skills – able to engage with senior stakeholders confidently and effectively

    · Ability to re-prioritise tasks at short notice, whilst still delivering all in-flight objectives.

    · Excellent project/programme management skills.

    · Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills.

  • Technical /Professional Qualifications:

    · Strong telecoms background

    · Business and commercial acumen

    · University degree
