As a Software Development Engineer II, you will design, develop, deploy, and maintain software features for both Backend and Frontend domains.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll be part of the Product & Tech Team, handling the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with a focus on middle-complexity software components. To succeed in this role you will need to be a skilled developer with a strong foundation in Java and software design principles, capable of handling complex tasks, contributing to a collaborative team environment, and continuously seeking to improve processes and code quality.

What will you do

• Design and develop robust backend components using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Build responsive frontend applications using React.js, Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Debug and resolve issues across backend and frontend in development, testing, and production environments.
• Ensure code quality through unit/integration testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to deliver user-centric features.
• Participate in team ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to feature discussions.
• Act as the initial on-call responder, ensuring the health and stability of deployed applications.
• Mentor junior developers and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• 1–3 years of experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience in Angular 8+, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
• Good understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Spring Security, OAuth2, or JWT-based authentication.
• Exposure to cloud-native architectures using AWS/Azure.
• Understanding of performance tuning, observability tools, and production-grade deployments.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, or Server-Sent Events (SSE) is a plus.
