About the Role

Description

Our custodians play a pivotal role in creating clean environments for our guests. It is important that our custodians are warm to our guests and tidy the guest areas. Our custodians clean all public spaces that our guests visit including bathrooms, conference rooms, gathering spaces and more! By preforming these duties you will be helping us to fulfill our Mission of "Impacting Lives for God's Glory through Purposeful Hospitality!"


Weekends & Holidays Required -  Energetic Passionate Team 


Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean floors, walls, windows, and restrooms in public areas 

• Operate heavy duty vacuums, carpet shampooers, carpet extractors, floor strippers, and other equipment as needed 

• Cleaning office areas 

• Cleaning and preparing for large guest events

• Assists in maintaining and servicing all floor equipment 

• Interacts with guests and employees in a hospitable professional manner

• Responds quickly to requests related to cleanliness in public spaces

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements


•  Work experience in the operation of floor care equipment 

•  Manual labor work experience 

•  Maintains a positive and professional attitude in all interactions and work environments.

•  Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.

•  Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.


Education, Work Experience, and Other Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma Preferred 

• Valid Drivers License Preferred


Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to navigate areas of our campus that may vary in degrees of steepness

• Must have ability to lift 50 lbs with a range from floor level to above shoulder height 

• Walking and standing on concrete floors for a period of up to two hours 

• Free range of motion including twisting, bending, stooping, and climbing on step ladders
