Position Summary:
The planner will coordinate and schedule the activities of our manufacturing operation by planning the production requirements in coordination with sales, customer service and the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare production schedules with attention to product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan operations.
- Plan production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
- Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
- Provide necessary support to the sales and customer service teams.
- Retrieve, input and utilize data from management reporting systems such as SAP, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
- Minimum of 3 years’ customer service experience
- Ability to perform basic quantitative skills required,
- Ability to work with all areas of the business
- Professional verbal and written communication
- Strong customer service advocacy and problem-solving skills
- Ability to react to situations in a timely manner and be flexible witl1 people and operational assets.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of SAP
