Position: Licensed Mental Health Therapist
Classification: 1099 Contractor, Fee-for-Service, Part-Time
Hours: Varies based on caseload
Start date: Flexible

Contractor Summary:

We are looking for highly skilled and personable licensed mental health clinicians (psychologists,  social workers, etc.) to join our existing team of Child, Adolescent and Adult, Family and Couples’ Therapists who specialize in evidence-based treatments, such as CBT, PCIT, PMT and ERP to treat children, adolescents, adults and families struggling with anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, disruptive behavior and ADHD.

Contractor Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based individual and/or group treatment to children, adolescents, adults and families utilizing primarily CBT-oriented modalities
  • Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues and collateral providers
  • Keep timely and accurate patient records including attendance 
  • Complete billing logs and session notes, which need to be completed within 24-48 hours of service provision
  • Participation in department and related team meetings
  • Professional development opportunities within and outside of the organization through company wide workshops

Requirements

Contractor Qualifications: 

Required:

  • NY state licensure to practice psychotherapy (psychologist/social worker/licensed mental health professional) is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience using evidence-based CBT interventions (CBT, PMT, ERP, PCIT) to treat children, adolescents and adults with anxiety, mood disorders, ODD and ADHD is required
  • Workers’ Compensation Insurance, Malpractice Insurance and NPI number
  • Solid time management, writing, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to MPG’s mission, vision, and core values

Preferred:

  • PCIT certification
  • Experience with the ASD population

Classification, Compensation & Benefits

  • Part-time, Hourly Independent Contractors (Fully Licensed, Independent Psychotherapists including but not limited to Psychologists, LCSW, LMHC): 
  • Hourly rate of $120-200 depending on credentials and experience
