The Assistant Store Manager will play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, and leading a team of dedicated professionals. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this role focuses on achieving sales targets, maintaining operational excellence, and contributing to a positive and inspiring team culture.
- $24/hr base with eligibility of commission
- Must be available to work weekends
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team.
- Act as the leader on duty in the Store Manager’s absence, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Motivate and inspire team members to meet and exceed sales goals and customer service standards.
- Provide coaching and constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
Sales & Customer Experience:
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and serve as a product expert, particularly in Bellami hair extensions and styling services.
- Assist with in-store events and promotions to drive customer engagement.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee daily operational tasks, including inventory management, merchandising, and store cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with scheduling to optimize coverage and labor efficiency.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a retail or beauty environment
- 2+ years of assistant manager experience (preferred)
- Passion for the beauty industry, particularly hair extensions and styling services.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
