About The Company
Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin has been serving youth for over 75 years, since 1946. Many alumni fondly remember their days at the Barbieri Boxing Club in Healdsburg which became the first Club in the County. Every day, our county’s future leaders come to the Clubs seeking hope & opportunity from caring adults. What happens next is hard to describe. Somewhere between hours of homework help, character building experiences, and positive relationships with other kids, lives are changed. Since 2008, we’ve grown from serving 300 young people to more than 10,000 Sonoma and Marin County children every year at 40 Clubs. Our growth is the outward demonstration of our commitment to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible adults. We hope you'll keep your eye on this growth and we invite you to join us in making a difference in the lives of thousands of youth! Join our team and start a meaningful career in youth development! Hiring, developing, and retaining the highest quality staff possible is where it all begins. That’s because our work is anchored in our team's ability to bring our mission to life. We place a priority on professional development and support our employees through in-house training certifications; management training programs for current and future managers; annual retreats, and individual coaching/mentoring and job shadowing.
