Project Coordinator - Waste to Energy
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate Waste-to-Energy Power Plant projects across Business Development, Project Development, and Execution phases.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities, conducting market research and feasibility analysis, and preparing proposals, presentations, financial models, and stakeholder/investor documents.
- Assist in end-to-end project development from concept to structuring, including planning timelines, budgets, and resource allocation with the Project Director.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain comprehensive project documentation (studies, agreements, reports) to ensure alignment across all phases.
- Act as a central coordinator among internal teams, partners, contractors, and authorities, supporting negotiations and facilitating meetings to align on milestones and deliverables.
- Support regulatory processes by obtaining permits, licenses, approvals, ensuring environmental and legal compliance, and assisting in PPA documentation and processes.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and risks; prepare reports on milestones and mitigation plans, and support KPI development for performance tracking.
- Coordinate commissioning and ensure readiness for COD, supporting the transition to operations and smooth handover with ongoing performance monitoring.
Job Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in project coordination or project management, with a minimum of 3 years in Power Plant or Waste-to-Energy projects.
- Experience in financial coordination, project financing, and engagement with banks/lenders.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, knowledge of corporate governance, and proficiency in MS Office and project management tools; professional English (written and verbal).
- Strong knowledge of regulatory, permitting, and legal processes related to power plant projects.
- Experience dealing with government authorities, local communities, and public stakeholders.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
