Cardiac Anesthesiologist – Baptist Health System | Jacksonville, FL

US Anesthesia Partners of North Florida (USAP) is seeking full-time Cardiac Anesthesiologists to join our expanding cardiac and structural heart program at the nationally recognized Baptist Health System in Jacksonville, FL. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice advanced cardiac anesthesia in a collaborative, high-performing environment within one of Florida’s top health systems.

Cardiac Case Mix Includes

A mature, high-acuity cardiac and structural heart program featuring:

  • TAVR
  • MitraClip
  • TMVR
  • Septal repairs
  • CABG
  • Minimally invasive valve repair & replacement
  • VATS
  • Thoracotomies
  • Thoracic aortic aneurysms
  • Ventricular assist devices

Clinical MixCardiac volume is approximately 30–40%, with the remainder in:

  • General surgery
  • Neuro
  • Endoscopy
  • EP lab
  • Plastics
  • OB

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. with completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Anesthesiology
  • Completion of a Cardiac Anesthesiology fellowship may be required or preferred depending on the role
  • Must meet all hospital credentialing requirements
