About the Role

Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Supporting the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the Lead Azure Full Stack Developer role will serve as a senior technical resource supporting the design, development, and sustainment of secure, enterprise-grade applications for a government client. This position combines expertise in software engineering, systems integration, and automation to deliver scalable cloud-native solutions. The developer will work across development and operations teams to build resilient services using modern toolchains, Power Platform integration, and AI-driven automation frameworks that advance digital modernization efforts. The role requires strong communication and articulation skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

Lea, including Copilot Studio, Agentic AI frameworks, and AI agent orchestration (e.g., AWS Bedrock).
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes for high availability and scalability.
Contribute to blockchain and distributed ledger initiatives where applicable to secure data exchange and improve auditability.
Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams using tools such as Rally to manage work tickets, track progress, and support iterative delivery.
Provide subject-matter expertise, mentoring, and hands-on guidance to engineering and DevOps teams.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience/Education:

Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on software engineering or systems development experience within enterprise or government environments.
At least 3 years of experience in Azure or hybrid cloud ecosystems.
Prior support of federal or defense programs strongly preferred.
Bachelors Degree preferred

Required Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience with Azure Cloud Services and cloud architecture design.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Stack technologies (.NET, Power Platform, Logic Apps, and Functions).
Strong background in Full Stack Development (.NET, Java, and modern frameworks).
Expertise with Power Platform connectors and custom API integration.
Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Skilled in automation frameworks (Power Platform, Azure Automation).
Familiarity with Copilot Studio, Agentic AI Frameworks, and AI agent orchestration (e.g., AWS Bedrock).
Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of automation testing methodologies and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
Strong communication and articulation skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Experience working within Agile Scrum methodologies and using tools like Rally for sprint planning and ticket management.

Experience applying blockchain or distributed ledger technologies in secure or compliance-driven environments.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and observability best practices.
Familiarity with federal security frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or CMMC.
Experience leading secure operations and maintenance (O&M) initiatives or modernization projects.
Demonstrated ability to apply AI-driven technologies for workflow automation or digital transformation.
Hands-on experience within DevSecOps environments or continuous modernization programs.

Clearance Process:

Must be a US Citizen, clearable at the Public Trust level. Clearance process is approximately 4-8 weeks.
