WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Video Engineer to join our dynamic global corporate team. This pivotal role will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, managing local video systems, and collaborating with project teams on new installations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and ongoing development of our video infrastructure across multiple sites worldwide.

 

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

 

  • Third Line Support for Global Maintenance Teams
  • Act as the escalation point for complex video-related issues encountered by our global maintenance teams.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting and resolution for hardware and software problems affecting video systems worldwide.
  • Collaborate remotely with regional teams to diagnose and resolve persistent issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Document solutions and create technical guides to support first and second line teams.
  • Take ownership of local video systems, including Evertz, Ross, and Riedel equipment.
  • Manage and execute firmware and software updates for both core and edge devices, ensuring systems are secure and up-to-date.
  • Plan and implement future enhancements, features, and upgrades to optimise video spaces.
  • Work closely with local operations teams to gather requirements, address concerns, and deliver tailored solutions that support business needs.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Project Team Collaboration – New Installations partner with project teams to provide technical guidance throughout the lifecycle of new video system installations.
  • Participate in system design, installation, configuration, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure all systems are installed to the highest standards, fully tested, and integrated with existing infrastructure.
  • Deliver technical documentation and training to stakeholders and end-users when required.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

Must-Haves:

 

  • Extensive hands-on experience with professional video systems, preferably including Evertz, Ross, and Riedel platforms.
  • Proven track record in third line support or senior technical engineering roles within large corporate environments.
  • Strong understanding of firmware/software management, system upgrades, and networked video solutions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues under pressure.
  • Experience in managing and delivering video system installations from conception to commissioning.
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with global and local teams.
  • Ability to create clear technical documentation, guides, and training materials.
  • Adaptable and proactive, with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate and deliver as a part of a team environment
  • Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standard
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to regularly climb and work from ladders up to heights of 35 feet; lifting equipment, tools and materials.

Nice-To-Haves (Certifications):

 

  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent professional certification.
  • Vendor certifications from Evertz, Ross, or Riedel.
  • Experience working in multinational organisations.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Health and safety training
